Our Story

Richfield Service Inc. was started in 1972 by Philip Sr and Donna Thoma. Richfield Service Inc. was a small farming community in Washington County, Wisconsin. Philip Sr. was known for his love of the community as he was involved in the Richfield Service Inc. Lions Club. In the beginning, Philip Sr. and Donna repaired cars and trucks, sold and rented cars. As Philp Sr and Donna’s children grew there were two of the five children stayed in the business (Karen and Philip Jr). Today Philip operates the car and truck repair with his children (Phil and Carrie). He follows his father’s footsteps remaining in Richfield Service Inc. and repairing vehicles for the surrounding communities of Richfield Service Inc., Hubertus, Germantown, Colgate, Slinger, Jackson, Hartford, and Menomonee Falls. Richfield Service Inc. is proud of the business family they employ. Today with the ever-changing vehicles, Philip Jr (now a Senior himself) works hard to make sure his technicians are well trained. From the lube/tire technicians to our advanced senior technician’s training at Richfield Service Inc. is always an important part of teamwork. Those who are looking to make a career in vehicle maintenance and repair find Richfield Service Inc. Service a rewarding place to work. Philip feels education is extremely important whether a customer is interested or his technician wants to understand a situation is his way of giving back to the community.
